BEHIND THE BUTTER
Founded in 2023, Lonely Sunday Tattoo Care was born from a simple idea: tattoo aftercare should be fun, effective, and stress-free. Founders Max and Jodie spent over 300 hours in the chair getting tattooed, healing everything from black and grey to full colour tattoos. Through their own experiences and insights from multi award winning tattoo artists they realised the world of tattoo aftercare was full of generic advice and products that weren’t designed for the unique needs of tattoos. They set out to change that. After hours of testing different formulas with multi award winning tattoo artists, they perfected a formula that truly supports tattoo healing and maintenance while making the process enjoyable.

Max is covered in tattoos from head to toe, each one a story and a lesson in healing. With 250+ hours in the chair and insights from top tattoo artists, he co-created Lonely Sunday’s natural tattoo care products to make tattoo aftercare simple, effective, and fun.

Jodie's journey with tattoos began when she was a kid, driven by her love for art and design. She's spent over 50 hours getting tattooed, and has been tattooed by various artists. With hands-on experience caring for both colour and black and grey tattoos, she's here to bring you natural products that truly work and are fun to use!
